Video from James Copenhaver is valuable for different reasons than most think
A few days ago Fox news released a video they said was shot by James Copenhaver, one of the people critically wounded at the Trump rally on July 13. The video caused a stir because it appeared to shot the shooter up on the roof about 3 minutes before shots started being fired. I’m interested in it for a different reason.
Here’s a link to a version of the video. They annoyingly darken everything except Crooks in those moments when Crooks is in the picture, but it is higher resolution than what was originally shown. It is also uncropped and has sound.

Here’s a still from it. I have cropped it to show the guys in hard hats at the bottom and building 6 in the back. I don’t care about where Crooks is in this video.
James Copenhaver was standing 6 feet to the right of David Dutch, and David Dutch was hit by the same shot that nicked President Trump’s ear.
That means if you mentally shift the viewer 6 feet to the left and run a line through Trump’s right ear, you will get to the bullet’s origin. Now the back of those bleachers is about 100 feet from the podium, and the podium was about 400 feet from the front of building 6. Simple geometry says the bullet would have started about 6 feet times 4, or 24 feet to the right of the point directly behind Trump’s right ear when he turned his head. I’m guessing that would be about the second large vent pipe from the left, assuming Trump leaned forward a little. Measuring 24 feet to the right takes one to about the center window of building 6.
Now you have the question of height. All the screengrabs I could find show Mr. Copenhaver standing a little taller than Mr. Dutch. I didn’t see any with Mr. Copenhaver actually taking video, so that’s a bit of a wildcard, but he would have no reason to hold his cell phone way over his head. It was probably at or a few inches below eye level.

This is from 5:23 in the video, and Mr. Trump has just started talking. James Copenhaver is at the top left, in a long sleeved white shirt and a grey hat with a brim. He appears to be holding a cell phone, but not recording. David Dutch is also in the back row, about 6 feet to Mr. Copenhaver’s left. He is wearing a shirt that is blue on his left shoulder and and red and white striped on his right shoulder:
The spot just past Mr. Trump’s ear is about 7 or 8 feet high up on the side of building 6. When Mr. Trump was leaning forward that spot would have been a little lower.
As others and myself have noted, very strange things happened at the middle window, and “reflections” doesn’t even come close to explaining them. None of the other windows have even 5% of the activity that the middle window has. But there are other possibilities for a rifle location in that area. There is a small opening just to the right of those big vent pipes. There are two patches in the wall. And there are the triangular openings caused where roof itself has “wrinkles” for structural strength.
Here you can see a small vent hole maybe 6 feet to the left and a foot up from the center window, and a “patch” about 6 feet to the right and a foot up from the window. There is another patch just to the right of the photo view.
Chris Martenson said initially he was sure there were two shooters, the trajectory of the first bullet seemed to be rising, and thus the first three shots must have come from one of the windows of this building. But once the “Stewart” video came out, he just said “none of those windows were open”, and considered it a closed case. He has never even shown the whole video or mentioned the obvious changes in appearance of the middle window to my knowledge, which is extremely weird.
Last Thursday he did a collaboration video with the Paramount Tactical youtube channel, and he and the main guy with that channel were talking about the first level shooter being 100% disproven - that all the shots must have come from one shooter despite the radically different sound signatures.
They even got into some absolute gibberish trying to imply that a bullet could have some kind trajectory other than parabolic when explaining how the first bullet appeared to rise. They also said that the photo of the dead shooter looked much more like Crooks than like Maxwell Yearick. My view is that he looks more like Yearick, except the ear, which could easily have been photoshopped. The dead guy’s hairline is more foreward than Crooks’ hairline, and we don’t see the big protruding chin on the dead guy.
One decent point Gary (the guy at Paramount Tactical) made was that if you had a pro shooter in a snipers nest somewhere, he really should have killed Trump on the second or third shot. When Trump reached for his ear he clearly signaled to the shooter where the bullet had gone. Why wouldn’t a professional shooter correct for that? That is a good point. But perhaps they didn’t have a professional shooter. Perhaps they had Crooks in the middle window and Yearick on the roof, neither being wonderful snipers. (I have read Yearick was originally identified as the shooter because the van with the explosives was registered to him. He is reportedly missing.) Also, if someone was shooting from the middle window, he didn’t have the clearest of shots. He had to shoot through a chain link fence, the view may have been blocked some by people in the left hand bleachers, and after the first shot police were starting to run and search everywhere in the area.
I wonder if Chris Martenson, Gary and some others have been threatened into backing off the second shooter theory. If they REALLY thought the first floor window idea was dead, Chris Martenson would have shown the whole Stewart video and explained away all the weird stuff that happened to the middle window.
I’m sure you’ve seen murder mysteries and action adventure movies. Remember Georgi Markov, the BBC broadcaster the Soviets killed with a pellet that was jabbed into him by a guy with an UMBRELLA? This stuff really does happen.
The difference in acoustic signatures and rising pattern of the bullets need to be explained. If a surveyor can get out there and show me that Mr. Trump’s ear was in fact above a straight line drawn between the peak of building six and the top of the right hand side bleachers, and if someone can reproduce the difference in acoustic signatures with a single rifle I will be satisfied.
But everything, and I mean everything, is pointing toward an inside job and a cover-up. I don’t know who is behind it. Trump has made a lot of enemies: the entire democratic party, the “establishment” republican party, the entire military industrial complex, big pharma, the globalists.
Mr. Trump needs to stop doing outdoor rallies. At a minimum he needs to hire his own security guards to oversee the secret service detail. It would be better if he did without the secret service altogether.
